#DownforceDebrief show returns for 2016 next Monday with Lester, with the full introduction in place this season in F1 for what drivers and teams can say over radio he would like to know: Would it be a good idea to limit the data teams can measure on a car to re-introduce uncertainty into races?
As a social experiment, I want to see how old you were when you thought F1 was great, what age you were when you thought it was in it’s prime, when F1 was enjoying it’s glory days. If you are one of the overwhelming amount of fans or former lovers of F1 who thinks the sport isn’t great anymore, I’d like to know at what age you were when you thought it was great.
I’ve long held a theory about what the results might be, It will be very interesting to see if I’m right or not, The poll results will be revealed when #DownforceDebrief returns for the F1 season.
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Another incredible season is over and my motorsport radio show ‘Downforce Debrief’ has taken the chequered flag on it’s second year. Back at the start of 2014 I never for one minute thought the show would have grown to become the 2nd most listened to show on Downforce Radio with over behind Dave Goddard’s brilliant OvalTalk, I wasn’t even sure whether anybody would bother listening at all!, but I’m stunned that my little show has received over 35,000 plays & downloads in it’s short time on the air. It might not sound like a lot, but I really think that even if a few hundred people tuned in, I’d be doing very well !.
I’ve loved presenting and producing every show live on a Monday night, breaking some big motorsport news stories and having some big debates and occasionally, some big arguments.
Also, Meeting and interviewing some of Motorsport’s biggest names has been probably the biggest highlight for me in 2015, An impressive list of names who have appeared on debrief this season is below and I have to thank Adam Weller, Scott Woodwiss and Jake Sanson for their help on the show and a special mention to Ben McPhillips who has been keeping my debating skills sharp.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Nick Yelloly
