Former F1 driver and British F3 Race Winner Karun Chandhok looks set to join Channel 4’s team to cover Formula 1 this season.

Spotted in the paddock in Barcelona during testing today by Sutton Images chatting to World Champion Lewis Hamilton.

So far, The Broadcaster has been tight lipped over who will front their coverage and the rest of the team following the announcement of David Coulthard in January and that they will retain BBC’s iconic theme tune The Chain by Fleetwood Mac.

    Steve Jones will anchor with Ben and DC in the comms box (like last year). Chandhok will do what Clarkson (Tom, not Jezzer) was doing last year. Lee is retaining her role over on C4. The other pundit will be rotated by Webber and Wolff, possibly Watson, Prost and maybe even EJ as well will be there. However, all i really know for sure is Steve Jones, Karun Chandhok, David Coulthard and Ben Edwards.
